I am catching up on delayed projects,  Near 60° today, 4/2/20. So the Modern Iron gets a new Knuckle, hub and bearing assembly.  Being in the rust belt, these assemblies make a lot of sense and the price is very attractive.  I've had a lot more than one knuckle crack while trying to press out the bearing. Or the hub is so galled it isn't useable. Ken Strysick

Welcome!

Ilene Schauer is busy reminiscing during the Stay in Place order.  She visited the Dust's garage while 3 generations were working together.  Ron, Ken and Nate. Per Ken, Ilene took these when she visited us back on a cold day in January 2017 as we helped Nate put the axles, drivetrain, and engine back on the re-riveted frame and got it ready to drop the body back on.  She also sent some pictures of her Model T driving lesson with Don Carter

Hi to all. While I have been staying at home a lot lately it has given me time to start working on my '29 Coupe again. I'm working on fitting the body panels on. I'm hoping the weather starts staying warmer. I've taken a couple of pictures to share. Although this project is taking longer than I thought it would it has been fun. Stay safe everyone.  Bob Boryca

My wife Jan and I love going to auctions. We are pickers. Nothing in particular. Eclectic. We like it, the price is right, it seems to find its way home with us. A few years back we won the bid on this '30- A. Our A is all original with a seat and rumble seat, but no interior. Had it in the garage and want to get it out soon. Never had it running as we were told it got a new gas tank and was put into winter storage right after. Engine and chassis had been rebuilt. I had a '35 ford V8 street rod when I was much younger and always had a love for model A's and T's. The only bad part of this is we only got a bill of sale. No title. I did'nt realize how difficult it is and what you have to go through to get one. Would love to get this titled soon so we can start driving it. Hope all our fellow club members are holding up well with this virus thing. Looking forward to the next meeting and seeing you all. Mike and Jan Wrobleski. Lisle, Ill.
